The light show is a perfect combination of Guangxi folk tales and a modern art performance led by director Zhang Yimou. The number of participants in this giant art performance is more than 500 people, and most of them are surrounding villagers. The venue is chosen on the beautiful Lijiang River, with 12 graceful peaks as the background. The performance lighting covers an area beyond 2 kilometers away from the surrounding area. It is a window into the local Zhuang singing fairy Liu Sanjie and Zhuang culture.
