\nConfined space rescue is normal rescue + much more.\nThe purpose of a confined space (or any) written safety program is to guide behavior. When trained on the policy, workers are expected to make the right decisions and work in a safe manner.

\nThe challenge many workers face is trying to ensure that, when planning a confined space entry, their decisions align with the location’s program and policies. In other words, the written program is a comprehensive document that covers many topics, some of which may not be well-defined. On the other hand, the space they are planning to enter is very well defined and requires the workers to take specific actions to ensure safety.
\nWhen required to complete an entry permit, how can workers ensure that the entries they make on the permit reflect all the requirements of the location’s program?
\n\u6211\u4eec\u5efa\u8bae\u7684\u4e00\u79cd\u505a\u6cd5\u662f\u4e3a\u6bcf\u4e2a\u7a7a\u95f4\u5f00\u53d1\u4e00\u4e2a\u8fdb\u5165\u7a0b\u5e8f\u3002\u8be5\u8fc7\u7a0b\u662f\u5c06\u4e66\u9762\u7a0b\u5e8f\u7684\u8981\u6c42\u8fde\u63a5\u5230\u7279\u5b9a\u7a7a\u95f4\u7684\u4fe1\u606f\u6865\u3002\u5f53\u83b7\u5f97\u7a7a\u767d\u8bb8\u53ef\u5e76\u8ba1\u5212\u8fdb\u5165\u65f6\uff0c\u8fdb\u5165\u4e3b\u7ba1\u53ef\u4ee5\u53c2\u8003\u8fdb\u5165\u7a0b\u5e8f\uff0c\u4ee5\u786e\u4fdd\u8bb8\u53ef\u4e2d\u53cd\u6620\u51fa\u7a0b\u5e8f\u548c\u6700\u4f73\u5b9e\u8df5\u3002

The procedure would include a brief description of each hazard such as, “Slips\/Trips: In wet weather, the floor of the vault may conceal tripping hazards,” or “Engulfment: The engulfing material can be emptied from the outside of the silo.” This level of information is more useful than simply checking a box.

\n\u2022\u8bbe\u5907\uff1a\u6240\u9700\u8bbe\u5907\u7684\u57fa\u672c\u6e05\u5355\u4e5f\u662f\u9700\u8981\u5305\u542b\u5e76\u53cd\u6620\u5728\u8bb8\u53ef\u8bc1\u4e0a\u7684\u4fe1\u606f\u3002
\nSome locations rely on cancelled permits to provide this information, and that’s not a bad approach if the permits are archived and accessible. The problem is that if there are changes in the written program, those won’t be reflected on old permits.
